What happens next
- Reply within one business day. Either a calendar link for a 30-minute slot or a note that we're not the right fit and a pointer to who is.
- The first call is free. No sales deck. We'll spend the time asking the questions in our buyer's guide and giving you our honest read on whether the project is worth doing.
- You leave with a written ROI estimate regardless of whether you ever hire us. We use the framework from our AI ROI post.
- If we go forward, we send a fixed-fee scoping proposal within a week. See our services page for the three engagement shapes and price bands.
What we'd rather you didn't ask
We're a small studio. To keep the work honest we say no to a few categories:
- Pre-seed startups looking for a technical co-founder — you need an engineer with equity, not a consultant on retainer.
- "AI strategy" decks intended for board theater. We write strategy memos that get implemented, not slide decks that get applauded.
- Engagements with no operational owner on your side. If no one on your team has a P&L for the outcome, the project will fail no matter who builds it.
If any of that describes the engagement you have in mind, we'd rather tell you on the call than after the contract.
